This is symptomatic of a toxic culture of entitlement that exists in some gaming circles. That aside, looking at the Twitter account in question... I'd bet the farm that they're not affiliated with Twitch in any way, as their engagement rate is piss poor. /1

Interesting point, Martin. Sure looks like a naked license to me if they have permission to use and thus an abandonment of the mark (not my legal opinion, tbc, just a casual thought).

An interesting postscript to this: header says “San Francisco” but he’s actually on the east coast. So it seems an attempt to look like an official Twitch account. ** this was settled shortly thereafter w/pinned apology tweets & tweets correcting the record.
