    I haven’t booted my Arch Linux box in over two years. Yesterday I booted it up and did a full system upgrade. And it worked. No issues. Very happy.

    Today I had two different team mates review a piece of code I wrote during a refactor. I got a lot of great feedback. The interesting thing is that I got two completely opposite opinions, which I must now figure out how to reconcile.

    Rewrote my map rendering code using code that I wrote ~5 years ago as the base. Interesting how my design process ends up being cyclical. Went from C++ to C# but the shape is mostly the same.

    Fixed it. The problem was I had been serializing in row-column order but deserializing in column-row order. Also I had been computing the row offset using the width of the wrong area 🤦‍♂️. Good news is now I can load Tiled maps!
