I've converted to this strategy. My human capacity for empathy was designed for bridging understanding with people who would look me in the eyes before they said things, not people behind keyboards acting out their traumas through context-less rage.

I’d love to do that, but afraid of all kinds of echo chambers much more than wasted time. What if the dull tweets are the only chance we have to save the world?

I think we're much more likely to miss good ideas due to them being drowned out by noise than due to them being filtered out by our quality filters. Quality filters increase not decrease your chances of hearing the world-saving tweet.
