Like the majority of Americans, I have an immediate family member locked up behind bars. My dad is in prison & at the age of 75, he is high risk for the virus. "A first-of-its-kind study released on Thursday shows that about 113 million American adults have an immediate family member who is formerly or currently incarcerated." Huh. So this does expand the scope to also incl. formerly encarceeared, but its nonetheless staggering.

And if the us population is around 300M, it's well over 1/3 the US population with an immediate family member affected. Huh. Thanks for this.
