The problem is all the violence that happens. The looters are killing our message! I have some thoughts but I don't know if we'll get a chance. The opportunity may have passed.

looting isn’t violence - beating people with batons, ramming cars into them, using chemical weapons, firing rubber bullets at them, pressing people’s faces into asphalt as you aggressively handcuff them, and killing 1000+ ppl every year are all acts of violence.

Curfew in LA is for 6 pm. Beverly Hills and Santa Monica business districts are 1 pm. The planned protest at Laurel Canyon and Crescent Heights would not have been within either of those business districts.
