I still do not have the words. Rest in peace, Tyre Nichols. You should be alive today. You didn’t deserve what happened to you. No one does. We have so much work to do and we must do it. This cannot continue.  Black Lives Matter.

Holy cow! Vancouver implemented the 3H proposal where all one way ACs become two way heat pumps! Industry is supportive!

Reminder: Vancouver no longer allows AC/Cooling only installations in residential settings. All permanently installed new air conditioning systems in existing detached homes must provide both low carbon heating and cooling. #HVAC #ClimateAction #VanRE

Everything billionaire/corps want hinges on weakening democratic govt. Everything Americans need depend on strong effective democratic government Good economies, schools, legal protections for all etc And what is single GOP mission? Dismantling our democratic govt. That’s it

Unbelievable. The House Republican leader says the GOP will end military and financial aid to Ukraine if they take back the House, delivering a giant gift to Putin. The Republicans will walk away from the defense of democracy and freedom. Vote accordingly.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy “signaled that additional aid to Ukraine, now in the ninth month of war with Russia, is unlikely if Republicans have a House majority.” washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/

“From 1970 to 2018, monitored populations of vertebrates declined an average of 69 percent” We have lost so much #biodiversity, and our efforts to feed ourselves - fishing and agriculture - are driving this along with #climatechange.

The interview by ⁦⁩ with Etherium’s founder was thoughtful-but I still think crypto is largely a solution in search of a problem and the decentralization and trust less ideals leave people even more unmoored and disconnected from each other

For my entire life, we Americans have lived off the fruits of investment by prior generations to build this country & its modern infrastructure. We've so often barely maintained what we were bequeathed. Can this generation be the one that recalls how to build great things again??

Excellent interview with the CEO of TikTok US by ! It’s hard to get at, but fundamentally the actions of the Chinese government under Xi has created an environment of complete distrust of its actions and intent globally. Trust has to be earned by actions.

Impt piece looking at the global economy for the world’s developing nations and the crisis they face. Deployment of clean energy technology will support #climate goals, development goals, and reduce financial vulnerability from fossil fuel prices.

Dan Conant, of Solar Holler, a solar installation company in WV found sufficient numbers of skilled workers by unionizing, thus allowing them to access workers from ⁦⁩. He told me it was hands down the best business decision he ever made.

The ⁦⁩ and his “plan” for Virginia’s #energy infrastructure is not only wrong for dealing with the #climatecrisis, it would also cost utility customers more $, make the state less resilient and harm the State’s economy. And he hates Legos.
Excellent point from - Every job, every career, every skill set needs to be a #climate job.

This is excellent advice ⤵️. There's SO much work to be done, and plenty of entry points. Also, if you're not sure what to do & want to join the front lines of the clean energy transition, consider the Department of Energy's Clean Energy Corps for a spell: energy.gov/CleanEnergyCor

This. and everything the Administration has been working to do to develop a new public - private industrial policy model is essential to our national security, American jobs and competitiveness, education and opportunity, and dealing with the #ClimateCrisis.

The only way to counter an increasingly effective Chinese industrial policy is with an even more effective American industrial policy. Ours will be very different than theirs, but pretending the private sector alone can compete with China is foolhardy. nytimes.com/2021/12/22/bus

Dan’s piece highlights an incredibly important part of the #EnergyTransition: we must use our existing built infrastructure where we can and reimagine old power plants into clean ones or other related infrastructure. This…plus lots of rooftop #Solar - which help with buy in.

A stunning lack of agency & efficacy is our greatest challenge. We don't believe we can act--or if we do, we don't think it will make a difference. That's why we need that vision of a better future + real world examples of the actions that will take us there today more than ever.

3. Over the past three years, collectively, it seems we have lost that sense of agency. (5/7)
