That actually sounds kinda cool. A megacorp like mine with thousands of access points in their office buildings could use that for corporate-owned phones.

I had never seen that until researching how carrier bundles allowed connecting to public Wi-Fi! makes me wonder which vendor lobbied for its addition 😅

Brings back memory of my French cell provider, FreeMobile. They did this in the early 2013 to connect to the broadband hotspot WiFi (their own router). assistance.free.fr/articles/freew Funny to look at the SIM info if you setup your own AP+Radius
