If you ever doubt the power of monopoly to print money for decades even with with atrocious product: the world has long moved on from desktop computers, but in every job I’m forced to use Microsoft Outlook. And I can’t figure out how to attach a file in mobile Outlook. No option.

I just love it every single time I have to click on like 5 different dialogs (that present no meaningful choice) to join a skype online meeting.

Hhmmm. I quite like it. Sure, sometimes it tries to do too many things at once and I will never like their Office "ribbon" but still it has just the right tools and rules to manage my overflowing inbox. And it's quite nice that Outlook plays nice with OneNite and Tasks.

(that'd be OneNote off course). For mobile I'd advise Nine. It's not free but it does a lot of things well.

One time I was teaching a course as an adjunct and at the new semester orientation for professors they announced the email was changing to Outlook and everyone cheered, I’ve never seen a group so excited for outlook in my life

OK. I used/use Mozilla Thunderbird (no longer by the Firefox people) to catenate all my Gmail accts. into one place. As a workaround...pic.twitter.com/37DGsijqB1

I love your writing, but Outlook on mobile is incredibly easy for attachments . That little paper clip on the bottom right is default on the iOS mobile app for outlook and is the same on PC.

Been looking! Not on my screen! (Using mobile, not app). Admittedly, Outlook always annoys me.

Those points you made are the reasons why I can’t use Outlook anymore plus it’s mostly useless now without an Office 365 subscription. Obviously there’s plenty of email alternatives out there not named Google, Apple, or Microsoft if you look carefully.
