His departure is a real loss especially as they may well replace him with someone who will not be so loud and outspoken, internally or externally. Its not that a single person can change everything. It’s what inability to keep an outspoken person signals for the future.

It will be interesting to watch if Facebook can keep Stamos. The reporting was that he left his last job at Yahoo after objecting to excessive government surveillance. You’d think Facebook would prioritize security and trust after all this.
