Sure. I wasn’t objecting at all to Alex tweeting. That’s not my point above. I agree, this isn’t a security breach in that sense. It’s a structural business model issue. And that’s my point.

Second, it buried the issue of misinformation and fake news on the platform pre-election. It was visible to many of us from just eyeballing it, and they certainly knew, but they avoided the topic and did very little. So people didn't know what the issue was so could not weigh in.

I think that’s a profound mis -characterization of what the newsfeed means. It’s like saying a fashion designer decides what we wear, or indeed, that an editor decides what we read. True day to day, misleading on any longer-term scale.

Can you explain what the newsfeed means since I seem to lack that understanding? Fb makes millions of choices about the newsfeed per second. What is shared, how often, if it meets “community standards”, etc.
