Worse than verifying what is truth will be sorting out all that is not. From a disinformation ops perspective it’s going to be that much easier to flood the market with so much falseness nothing will ever be verifiable “true” again.

Chain of custody, as digital images are for court. Maybe with hashes of files at each stage of editing. perhaps a way will be found to outsource verification to a trusted third party.
