Look, I understand the hypocrisy charges/angle but widespread mocking of a person for an adult, consensual relationship is also a kind of hypocrisy. Rights are rights, dignity is dignity. They can't be selectively defended.

This is not true because first class also drives. Over 1 million car deaths per year compared to a few hundred flying. Planes are so safe because we decided a while ago that plane crashes/deaths are entirely unacceptable, but automotive crashes are fine.

30k car deaths/yr in US- half of what it was a couple decades ago. Major improvements in safety made. Very different problem to solve tho.
