Saving TCP/IP scale neutrality is great, and important. But that’s merely the conditions under which we live to fight another day for an internet optimized for something else besides harvesting our attention and data.

Also ending Net Neutrality would greatly empower Facebook. They’d easily buy their lane, and that would be that. Google would go even more “amp.”

Thinking of only one side of the issue (fake news and manipulation OR giant platform power) is not going to help address either. (Ironically, simplistic outrage is good for playing to get likes and retweets).
