Agreed. My concern here is that these institutions are a public good--i.e., market won't build and sustain very well. Will we generate sufficient resources to build these institutions? & will we build them fast enough?

eg the "Golden Era" 20th century US institutions were born from New Deal/WWII consensus. Have to defeat authoritarian know-nothing-ism first.
