I find it hard to believe so many devices have a microphone with no physical off switch—and that we have no choice if we want a computer.

In other words, it will occasionally occur by chance especially since they're trying to infer your interests. But we need hardware switches!

Not sure if anything but would make sense to feed an AI with sounds/convos not to display ads but train it to infer context (for later use)
