When I called for disclosure of political ads on FB in 2012, many Dems (who benefited then) thought I was a curmudgeon or a partisan. Nope.
Many Dems argued with me that data and data science would always be on their side... I said this will go to the highest bidder. Always does.
It's like the automotive before seat belts & emission controls. Regulation, disclosure & oversight will be good for the world and industry.
