Question to US folks with T-mobile: I want an unlocked Apple SE (A1662). It lacks some LTE bands. Anyone take one to Germany? Speed fine?

Apple SE models have different antennas. Apple website says T-mobile GSM SE doesn't work in Germany but I think it means not fastest speed.

So did anyone travel to Europe/Germany with an Iphone SE? Did it work okay? Haha there should be a website for this.

are you just using the included Tmobile int’l data, or paying extra for int’l? If former, SE gets LTE bands in Berlin, but only 3g speed.

Paying for extra but it is only $5 A month at this point and I think it gets me from 2G to 3G only

I think the 2G is included, and my five dollars a month bump it a little. But I'm fine if it's just 3G

yes, you are right, it’s 2g, but think if you pay, you get lte? I used the included intl, and it felt faster in berlin vs. india.

I did pay for the upgrade. At worst, I've wasted for $5 a month. We shall see
