Question to US folks with T-mobile: I want an unlocked Apple SE (A1662). It lacks some LTE bands. Anyone take one to Germany? Speed fine?

I found this page about it:http://uk.pcmag.com/smartphones/76201/news/the-iphone-se-is-not-carrier-agnostic …

are you just using the included Tmobile int’l data, or paying extra for int’l? If former, SE gets LTE bands in Berlin, but only 3g speed.

Thank you very useful

The answer seems to be: yes, but not at the fastest speeds. Since T-mobile roaming is 2G-3G anyway, seems just fine.https://twitter.com/realdarrencohen/status/882619992281427968 …

T-mobile doesn't promise, but I often get LTE while roaming (eg in Japan).

Last year I traveled across europe-asia with an A1662 SE - worked fine, usually with 4G displaying.
