I don't really get it at all. Trolley problem is a theoretic construct for studying morality. It doesn't happen in engineering.

I'm curious how AI handles uncertainties. Does it work with probability distributions? Does it make predictions based on its "experience"?

I think the one thing we can manage is roll it out globally after the AI is a much better driver than global drivers—fairly low bar.

As someone who's worked on self driving cars, the reason these questions drive me nuts is they're so totally divorced from how the cars work
