Right, but the differences can be much more than approval rates. I hope you'd do a systematic study of the semantic differences, too.

Bassey is expert, but as color, I'll add there was also an auto mod 5+ yrs ago that was never fully used b/c it wasn't good enough

That's good, too, but history says that this increases the odds of that staff being on the chopping block. We'll see!

Also, it may well happen that user tenor will change (because of changes in environment) but system trained on 2017 norms... Have to watch.

I would guess that this will lead to reporters and editors (not dedicated moderation staff) reading comments more overall
