Yep. Some of the airports included could be arguable but UAE? It has US customs preclearance. Still, I think cargo is worst option.

Also the ban is by size which excludes my Amazon Kindle with a tiny, tiny battery but allows phones with much larger removable ones. aargh

Hence the concern with some airports--which might have made some sense, but such a badly, unevenly implemented initial ban.

Which is one reason for moving to putting them in the cargo, after years of trying to keep them out of cargo. Can't reconfig there.
