of the processing is eaten up by context switches into radio firmware. Even then, the BLE or 802.15.4 links are easily saturated.

So you have contention at the uC layer, the wireless layer (BLE, Z, etc), then the Hub has to uplink to the actual IP net. Bad attack model.
