Not a pic without alternatives (it's a great picture of a protest under tear gas but there are so many). And one can't license year by year?
Anyone works at Reuters/photos? I want to license $ pay one of their pics for my book site but they only license for a year! At $$$. Weird.

I don't understand the business model of selling something with probably close to zero demand at high $$$ and under unusable terms.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

um, have an artist (like the 1s who do courtrooms) reproduce the picture as a drawing. My guess is that ducks out of copyright

If it identifies the photographer, try contacting the photographer directly, may have nonexclusive rights or other similar photos
