Movements falter when the get stuck on tactics & stop thinking about the underlying dynamic: how do we convey threat by building capacity?
If we can't build a movement around what's going on now, I don't know what to say...

I'm not saying it can't be built. Just saying the Tea Party didn't sprout over night. It was built over a decade before it 'went public'

It also needs a single (or maybe dual) aim. Complexity crushes 'movements' (e.g. Occupy which had a smaller impact than it could have)
