It's an OAuth worm. It tricks you to authorize a phony app. Google doesn't ask for relogin!
If infected, do this:https://twitter.com/lorenzoFB/status/859860381522636801 …zeynep tufekci added,

Google has revoked the app; this won't spread anymore. I will update this thread if there is anything else to do.

Sorry, Google asking you to relogin wouldn't save you here. It's the authorization. But this is a good time to talk about authorization.

Go here: http://myaccount.google.com/permissions Look at every app you authorized. Check their authorizations. Think if you really want to authorize it.

If you don't recognize the app, revoke it. If you later realize you wanted it, you can reauthorize it. Authorizing means giving access.

Folks, changing password is not necessary, nor will help stop this kind of authorization worm. Revoke the apps. See upthread.

Folks, if you got infected with this auth worm, password change has no effect. Google is revoking this app, but go check all your apps.

Google OAuth worm has long been quashed. If you didn't click and authorize, you're fine. If you did, read upthread and revoke unknown apps.
