I am sensitive to these trade-offs. In this case, yeah, clear. Say no to illegitimate requests, or deal with them the way Twitter does.

I mean, this really isn't hard. Facebook can say no to illegitimate requests. Can we not portray them as hapless jellyfish drifting along?
