You might look at the EFF's mission. They're dedicated to helping people protect their privacy, especially in totalitarian regimes.

I acknowledge & empathize with your frustration with Linux usability. Some bugs aren't fixed fast, but security vulnerabilities are.

Open source has a horrible rep for wanting to attract coders instead of UX & graphics devs & testers. I want to help that by encouraging ppl
