For people targeted by strong adversaries: you really think so? I dont, unfortunately. Needs giant security team, bug bounty etc.

I really think so. I think using an operating system and software that can be independently verified always beats proprietary software.

If had equal security teams, I'd agree. Lack of big teams means targeted people are extra vulnerable. Source is open to hunt for bugs.
