I don't mind the reply bar above the tweets at all. That's the stuff one gets used to. But visually, it became super hard to scan TL.

That faint gray line is too faint a visual indicator; very hard to read if you are actually scanning. If you stop and stare, sure but ugh.

Also the @ is THE Twitter visual indicator besides the hashtag. Now it's gone? Plus, less control over replies.

I think part of intention is to make it easier to see all participants at a glance (and remove any). Couldn't do this before. Very handy.pic.twitter.com/7J9B16CmYy

But then they increased the number to 50... Nobody can have a conversation with 50. Huge clutter at times.
