Day 3. I actually tried to use Twitter to see if I could get used to visual difference. Nope. Nope. This new UI is a conversation killer.

The parties to a conversation are as important information as the text; without equalizing them visually, I constantly feel lost.

i have to admit that i dont understand the complaints at all. nothing changed with who sees what and how, right?

only difference is we're used to looking to the start of a tweet for replies & now its above. will get used to. also, easier for new users

I can't see who is replying to whom in the timeline anymore. My issue isn't above, below but that it is buried visually.

the big "replying to" is very easy! and i think it makes a lot more sense for new users who had a hard time figuring out the old way

No, look at this. Visually unclear if you are replying to me (hinted by faint blue line) or to many people or just tweeting.pic.twitter.com/D7UNZb4OPf

ah, when you expand a tweet, the replies lose the "replying to" text. agree that is super unclear. the blue line isnt enough, agree

i think unusable is too far, the blue line makes it easy to figure out, if a bit of a pain. everyone said they'd quit over the hearts :)

Hearts isn't quit worthy but it was worth noting. This is unusable to me. First time I said this in eight years.
