Solid finding: adult ed/training does not result in better wages or jobs at scale. Issue is lack of jobs to feasibly train for as an adult.

Home care: pitiful pay. Nursing is not an easy path, not attainable for many. STEM not plausible for most. It's not an excuse.

Also, even if adults re-train/educate, it's not like companies are eager to hire them! Age/re-ed bias very real.

Not true. Retraining programs are VERY effective when the money and right people are engaged.
