*Ludicrously* harsh on @wikileaks, who, with @snowden, are the only reason we're having this debate.
@wikileaks is a completely unique institution, in the objective sense of the word. Others tried and failed (e.g. Cryptome).
Whatever it's failings (and they are mostly failings of ego) the outcomes it achieves are many orders of magnitude more important.
the biggest issue with WL claim is that they are just as much if not more of a target and arrogance breeds mistakes.
