I like the 50s. Not having at least one 45+ is inconsiderate just like jumping from 10 to 15 to 25.
You are much rarer than the person who needs less. Hotel gyms often have machines, which work okay for heavy weights.

50s are definitely useful + safe for many lifters, even less serious ones. 2.5 lb increments at lwr weights would be nice though.
depends on the exercise but… yeah. I'm in decent shape and would get a lot of use out of 35-55 range.
I am an avid weight lifter and traveler. 50lbs is a good weight to have for many things, even though it's generally a warm-up weight
