MSF/Yemen campaign wrapped up. Started out of despair, turned into collective effort. We raised $229,260. Thank you. http://events.doctorswithoutborders.org/campaign/zeynep pic.twitter.com/bYm8KYpF6M
As folks get back to work: This MSF/Yemen campaign started with my $15,000 pledge; ended with almost $230,000.

I will write thank you emails as best I can, but the MSF donation page and tools are .. a bit lacking. 802 donations. Can't download.
Donation pages of life-saving NGOs are .. so crummy. Maybe tech people who want to do good can help fix that? Big need, area of expertise.
Update: Just talked to MSF. They said: ~"Thrilled to be back at work to see campaign that raised $230,000. Money to be earmarked for Yemen."
We are working to add the matches (another $102,000 off the page!) explicitly to the campaign page: http://events.doctorswithoutborders.org/campaign/zeynep
That might be a useful tech thing--for any fundraiser let matching donors add themselves through an online system.
I said this before but it bears repeating--thank you for this. Taking part in it has helped rekindle my hope. And I needed that.
Gotta keep despairing but also moving forward. It's true for all of us.
