i.e. expertise exists; not all of it is groupthink or Russia bandwagon but traditional media reporting on cybersec often lousy.

Totally agree—very bad story. But it's like the PropOrNot story. WaPo failed on both; problem the story is about real though.

In VT they jumped on RU/hacking bandwagon; in PropOrNot jumped on fake news bandwagon. Still crucial issues despite WaPo fail.
