what was wrong with the MSF one? Seemed to work pretty easily
Not set up for matching the way I did. I have 802 donations; no way to download emails with people's messages to write thank you.
we're experimenting; trying to make things better / safer / easier at @GlobalGiving!
Peer fundraising functionality is complicated & often a separate software tool. If you think MSF's are bad you should see ours!
I know. I looked around; MSF was one of the best. :-D
Congratulations on your amazing fundraising effort!
collective effort!
It's usually organizational capacity and culture, not lack of tech expertise, that’s the root of this problem.
What most nonprofits (heck, orgs of all kinds) need is help being good software customers. It's a difficult skill.
Update: Just talked to MSF. They said: ~"Thrilled to be back at work to see campaign that raised $230,000. Money to be earmarked for Yemen."
We are working to add the matches (another $102,000 off the page!) explicitly to the campaign page: http://events.doctorswithoutborders.org/campaign/zeynep
