There is a real but slow and simmering economic crises facing workers—especially without college degrees. That's ~two thirds of the country.
-
You know, develop policies that address inequality & job quality, *never* drop anti-racism, take organizing seriously—and see what happens?

Problem seems to be the way political consultant class has defined demographic groups. Dems are heavily losing WWC - not all WC.
-
Ofcourse an economic message won't be directed purely at WEC - but all WC.

One reason is that the WWC is big enough to show up as a separate group in surveys. Samples gen'ly too small to break out BWC etc.

A lot of WWC driven by culture war. Lot of lefties like to pretend that isn't so b/c they want more allies against moderate Dems
-
WWC fit leftie narrative that Dems not populist enough. POC have been too reliably Dem for the liking of anti-Dem left.

@ClaraJeffery -The working class is multi-racial! I agree! Why all the talk of "white working class"? -
white WC perhaps has an in-built sense of superiority over black WC and expects special treatment
