I support a good safety net. But you can't replace meaning, structure & schedule with a small UBI stipend—unless importing humans from Mars.

yup. UBI needs to be solid income for a decent standard of living, not subsistence.

It would have to be decent; there would have to be a lot less inequality and a wholesale restructuring of society. Not a pay-off.

Additionally, if people choose to work less with UBI, that opens up more jobs, aka more ways of earning additional money.
