So, blatantly fake news is too hard a problem for Facebook, but letting a third-party Chinese company disappear real news in China is okay?

I use it and find it useful since, like many people, it's the only means I have to stay touch with social ties and groups.
It's a great social tool in many ways: that's why it's so potent and that's why it has so much power and must also do better.

IMHO (based on experience/research), we'd be in better shape if journos invested the same energy in FB that they do here.
Though ideally for most it'd be 80/20 in favor of time spent on FB vs. anywhere else.
I may need to post there more but you never know if the algorithm will show it to anyone. Here, I know.
