For past year, people used the unemployment rate and job growth to not see how little security most people have. It's crippling.

Agree we need to reach out to some but it'll be a hard sell to POC in the D coalition. They justifiably feel threatened.

IMO this can be done without watering down an anti-racist stance. Just cutting the totalizing rhetoric would help.

Numbers that need to shift aren't huge. Of course, candidates matter. Lots of POC candidates who can do this—see Obama.
