It's quite possible WikiLeaks' source had sinister motives. But so do a lot of sources. Should reporters give up sources based on motives?

defining who is or isn't a reporter leads down a dangerous road, IMO. I respect your criticisms of their decision making though.

Not defining who's a responsible intermediary will lead us down a horrible road. Not as crime but collective responsibility.
