Classic. It works in many places. Take care of "people" defined as victims of the rich & foreigners & domestic "others" cast as foreigners.

Yes, Trump has orange tan etc. but his politics has a base. "I'm rich, know how the game is corrupt & I'll play it for you" has an appeal.

Which is why "Dangerous Donald" nickname is like an in-kind contribution to him. His whole shtick is he is dangerous for the status quo.

Calling Trump "dangerous" is like those "anti-smoking" ads by Philip Morris: "Teens! Don't smoke! Smoking is for adults. Tsk tsk." Uh-huh.

Know what works to convince teens that smoking is not cool? It's a con. The companies are conning you. Smoking is dangerous does not work.

I think it's the same with the Donald. His message is he is real and he is dangerous. Anti-message is he is fake and a con. Don the Con.

Clearly, his racist or xenophobic message should be resisted. But that can't be done by ignoring the appeal of the rest of his platform.

I mean what a world if higher minimum wage, dealing with effects of trade, tax the super wealthy etc. are Trump's messages to run with. Ugh.
