Yes Sanders got much less coverage. He also can't/won't do Trump-style news cycle stunts. But he also benefits from weaker gatekeeping.

A pre-new media Sanders campaign would've been long ago gone. He can continue as digital tools let him raise money and keep reaching people.

I did write media gatekeeper's are weaker. It doesn't mean they should have given Trump so lopsided coverage. But that's not the only story.
