@esi_ee I guess my broader point is government labels all dissent as "terrorist" and pro-gov columnists think stuff they dislike is libel.

@esi_ee Turkey's structural problems: lack of rule of law, lack of independent media. Makes solving rest of issues much much harder.

@esi_ee Given court system's huge problems, suing someone (an anti-censorship activist) who wrote an article you dislike is a major threat.

@esi_ee She can, sure. That said, target is anti-censorship activist and she's kind of "journalist" who's allowed to interview the PM.
