Turkey update is grim. First a picture then video of a a man's & corpse dragged behind police car in Kurdish town Sırnak emerged. Awful.

Another video that emerged was a Kurdish journalists being threatened by police to stop filming, and then gun pulled on the journalist. Ugh.

Then PM condemned the event & pro-gov't Turkish media that had just claimed it was routine bomb check went into condemnation mode. No shame.

Since there are no journalists allowed to work in the region, and since curfews continue on and off, hard to get sense of depth of crisis.

As Turkey snap elections near, things are getting more scarier. Only hope is for sanity to emerge after elections. Alternatives unthinkable.
