Has anyone written about why people stay and work at Amazon? The article suggests it's not even a high-pay job for most. What's the logic?
@marylgray The article contradicted that idea that it was the least secure who stayed put. Someone suggested bonuses you had to pay back.

@zeynep but we can't know if those bonuses felt necessary to those new hires. Feeling trapped can be personal. It's usually structural. -
@marylgray Apparently, you lose your bonus if you resign early, and you don't vest till may years in. So, huge penalty to leaving.
