Many scientists forget rule 1 of modeling: models are only valid under conditions similar to those used to develop the model. When the context changes (e.g., omicron reproduces faster than delta), you need to update the model. I wonder how many people forgot to do that.
If you look at our online model, it is already updated for omicron.
