It contradicts known facts, existing research, and what we know about these occupations, their risk factors, how people make decisions, role of education and culture. I'm open to someone showing numbers and some research. It doesn't work because it doesn't fit facts.

Sure, though I do not think this is without evidence. We do know a good deal about how people make risk decisions etc, and the actual relative risk.
