Our son tested positive longer than 8 days and he was triple vaxxed, young and healthy.

Has anyone done studies on length off transmissibility yet? I can’t recall seeing one but I’m not deep@in this the way you are.

Isn’t it day 7 by CDC standards? Having a day 0 makes the number lower

Would be interesting to know the vaccination status of the poll takers, as vaccinated people seem to have more delayed + test results.

My guess is overwhelmingly vaccinated since it was my poll.

Guidance says positive tests can occur for up to 90 days after infection/symptoms. Is this true for antigen tests, PCR, or both?

I still think the 8 day or higher % could be skewed high because of non-daily testing (because of shortage/cost) after first 1-2 positive tests. But no idea if that may be a significant effect.

Is this any different than before or just that people with test kits are getting sick?

So this affects me and my whole family: ARE we still contagious as we are still testing positive on Day 10?
