People who got infected and were able to test frequently during this recent Omicron wave.
On what day did you stop testing positive? (Day 1=first symptoms or first positive, whichever sooner. If no symptoms, day of ve+ test).

There is a problem. I was told you can test positive long after being infectious. No test simply does what you'd like it to do. But maybe testing-out of isolation errs on the precautionary side? I don't know. I took ~13 days, probly Delta.

I was told that’s more of a problem for PCR tests. Lateral flow is apparently less likely to show a false positive after recovery, but it’s still possible.

For me, I was testing at day 7 to see if it was safe to have a babysitter come watch my son while I worked (the test was positive, so we cancelled).
